Custom projects

Custom projects, from engineering to software

When the challenge is specific, the solution has to be too. We design, supply, install and maintain measurement and supervision systems tailored to your vessel and your operation.

When it makes sense

When a custom project is the right path

01

You already have automation on board

Existing PLCs, instruments and networks can be reused. We assess what fits and integrate it without replacing what works.

02

Your operation has its own rules

Contractual consumption, charterer KPIs, tolerance limits or specific reports that a generic product doesn't cover.

03

The data has to reach shore

Integration with ERP, fleet management, BI or charterer systems, with a clear data contract.

04

Newbuild, refit or drydock

The best moment to plan measurement and supervision is before the cables are pulled. We join the project from the start.

What we develop

Everything your project needs, in a single team

PLC and automation integration

Signal map, approved protocol and read-only access, together with your PLC integrator.

Instrumentation and field work

Selection and supply of sensors and meters, panels, industrial network and the onboard computer.

Screens and indicators

HMI and portal configured for your routine, with the indicators your operation actually uses.

Rules, alerts and limits

Tolerances and criteria defined with your technical team, versioned and with an audit trail.

Reports and integrations

Automatic reports, exports and an API for your shore systems.

New sensors and protocols

Adapters for what isn't on the platform yet, without creating a parallel version of the product.

How we run it

An engineering method, from survey to support

Scope, acceptance criteria and schedule agreed before you commit. No surprises along the way.

  1. 01

    Onboard survey

Inventory of equipment, circuits, sensors and automation, with the vessel's documents, such as the capacity plan.

  2. 02

    Specification and proposal

Measurement points, architecture, acceptance criteria and schedule. The scope is closed before contracting.

  3. 03

    Engineering and supply

Instruments, panels, network and onboard computer; signal map and configuration with the PLC integrator.

  4. 04

    Software and factory tests

Platform configuration, screens, reports and integrations, tested with simulated data before going on board (FAT).

  5. 05

    Installation and commissioning

Electrical, mechanical and network installation, calibration, onboard acceptance tests (SAT) and crew training.

  6. 06

    Assisted operation and support

As-built documentation, backup, updates and support. The system evolves with your operation.

Tailored screens

From the signal map to the charterer's report

The project starts at the measurement points and ends in the screens and reports your operation actually uses — in the format of your contract, not of a generic product.

Demo interface — fictitious data

01

Signal map in read-only mode

Every signal with source, protocol, quality and age. What comes from the PLC, what comes from a new sensor and what is estimated are explicit.

Demo interface — fictitious data

02

Reports in the contract's format

Consumption by mode against the contractual rates, charterer KPIs and automatic export to shore systems.

What you receive

  • Specification and acceptance criteria approved before execution
  • Factory and onboard test reports (FAT/SAT)
  • Training for the crew and the shore team
  • As-built documentation and signal map
  • Backup, updates and technical support
  • Screens and reports in Portuguese, English and Spanish
Example scope

Fuel management for an offshore support vessel

Two main engines and two auxiliaries, service and cargo tanks, and the requirement to show inventory and consumption in real time on board and ashore.

  • Level and temperature radar in every tank, with sounding tables and trim and heel correction
  • Supply and return flow meters for the net consumption of every engine
  • Continuous mass balance and reconciliation of bunkering and deliveries
  • HMI in the engine room and on the bridge, shore portal and mobile
  • Speed, trim and power load suggestions, with no automatic actuation

Illustrative scope based on a real requirement, without identifying the client. Every project is sized after the onboard survey.
